These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the specific terms applicable to the Repeat and Save subscription service.
Repeat & Save is provided by Canon Europa N.V., a Canon group company, with its registered address at 59, Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, Amstelveen, The Netherlands (“Canon”, “we”).
1.1. Canon’s Repeat & Save subscription service regularly sends you the Canon products of your choice at a better price, at the specific frequency and quantity you choose. The current discounts and benefits can be viewed on the Repeat & Save page.
1.2. You can skip a delivery, make changes or cancel in accordance with the Terms below.
2.1. Repeat & Save shall be available to residents of the Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom (“Territory”). For further delivery information and exceptions, please see our Delivery Information page.
2.2. Enrolment in Repeat & Save is for your individual use, and not for resale, redistribution or to otherwise share with other parties.
2.3. The service is mainly for consumers. If you are a business, please, mind that we don’t issue VAT invoices to our customers buying through our online B2C e-Commerce site, therefore, as a business, you will not be able to claim the VAT back.
2.4. The Repeat & Save will be available on selected products which will be signposted on the product page (“Eligible Products”). The list of Eligible Products may change from time to time, e.g. when new printers are released meaning, new inks will be added or when inks are discontinued for old printers; or if new products are eligible for the Repeat & Save.
2.5. When signing up to other subscription services (such as Automatic Ink Replenishment), it is your responsibility to amend or cancel Repeat & Save, so you don’t end up getting the same products via the different subscription services.
3.1. You must have a valid email ID and a Canon ID account to register for the Repeat & Save subscription service.
3.2. If you are residing in the territory, you will be able to purchase Repeat & Save subscription in any country of the territory, disregarding your exact country of residence, however, Canon will only be able to deliver eligible products to the country local to the website where you have purchased your Repeat and Save subscription.
4.1. Once you have subscribed to selected eligible products, they will be delivered automatically at the agreed quantity and frequency, so you don’t have to do anything.
4.2. You will be charged the price of an item at the time your subscription order is placed, and this will be mentioned in the order acknowledgement email. Any discounts applicable to you will be automatically applied. Standard free delivery threshold and fees will apply to your total order value after any discounts or promotions have been applied.
4.3. You must ensure that valid payment details are given at the time of the Repeat & Save subscription. You must ensure that enough funds are available at the time of your future monthly billing dates. For any payment failures, Canon will send the user a reminder email to update the payment details and we will try processing the payment three times. If these attempts are unsuccessful, the current subscription order will be cancelled. On your next subscription order, we will try to process your payment again. If it fails, the order and your overall subscription plan will be cancelled.
4.4. If the payment card needs updating, Canon will send you an email notification 2 days before the order is due to be placed, for you to update it with valid card details. You can also update the payment details anytime on the My Account section of the portal. If Canon continues to be unable to collect payment from you, Canon will cancel Your enrolment to the subscription service.
4.5. It’s your responsibility to ensure that your shipping address is always kept up to date.
4.6. Unfortunately, in some very rare and exceptional situations, we may experience some stock shortage and your chosen product may be unavailable. Should that happen, we will let you know that the item is out of stock. If you have chosen “Automatic Substitutions”, where applicable we will ship you the alternative compatible in a different size, so you never run out of ink. For many printers, the same ink may come in different sizes. So, for example, if Customer A has chosen an XXL size ink as their default but it is out of stock and they have enabled substitutions, we would ship them an XL or standard size instead. As all these sizes are for the same ink model, it would be compatible with the printer they have. You can change your substitution settings in the Subscription tab of your My Account section.
4.7. By default, the Automatic Substitution is on for Repeat & Save, but you can disable this setting via the My Account section of the portal.
5.1. You can modify your Repeat & Save subscription settings anytime by logging into the My Account section of the portal.
5.2. Any changes to your subscription settings, up until 12 midnight GMT, will automatically apply to any new automatic orders from the following day. If you make changes to your order after the upcoming automatic order has been created, the changes will only apply to the next automatic subscription order.
5.3. When an automatic Repeat & Save order is created, you will have 48 hours to skip or edit the order. You will get an email informing you of the same. Afterwards, the order will be processed and shipped as normal.
5.4. You can change the quantity and frequency of selected items in your subscription via the portal. If you want to make these changes, you must do so within 48 hours of receiving the email about the creation of your upcoming order. However, changing the frequency of an item may result in the creation of a new subscription order. For example, if Customer A has a subscription for black ink and colour ink but wants to change the frequency of black ink to weekly, and colour ink to monthly, then we would split their current order into two separate subscription orders. This is because the delivery frequency and dates would be different to each other.
5.5. Canon reserves the right to change the list of eligible Repeat & Save products and any savings associated with this service. However, any changes to this setting will only apply to new subscriptions. For customers who are already subscribed, Canon may change your subscription, savings and settings related to it with a 30 days’ notice. If you do not accept these changes you will be able to cancel your subscription 14 days before your next payment date.
5.6. In the rare instance that Canon removes a product from the Repeat & Save service (i.e. the product is discontinued) or cancels this service altogether, we will give you a 30-day notice informing you of this change.
6.1. Your Repeat & Save subscription continues until it’s cancelled by you at any time or by Canon with a 30-day notice period.
6.2. You have a 14-day legal right from the date of enrolment to cancel this subscription. If you have received inks within these 14 days, you can return them to us via the standard returns process to receive a refund. We are unable to offer refunds on open inks.
6.2.1. You can cancel the Repeat & Save subscription order anytime from the My Account of the portal and the change will be effective immediately. No new automatic orders will be created after this time, but any in-progress orders will be processed as normal and will be shipped and billed accordingly.
6.3. If you wish to return a Repeat & Save product, our normal returns process applies.
6.4. You will have 90 days to re-activate any cancelled subscription. Any discounts you had before cancelling your subscription will still apply when you re-activate. However, if this discount has changed since your cancellation (i.e. increased or decreased), we will inform you of this change. After 90 days, a new Repeat & Save subscription order will need to be created if you wish to use this service and all your previously earned discounts would no longer be applicable.
7.1. In the event of a fault in our products notified to us we will (subject to confirmation of the fault), refund, exchange or repair the products.
7.2. The maximum loss or damage we will be responsible for under these Terms of Sale is limited to the price you have paid us for the Product to which the loss or damage you suffer relates.
7.3. We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and gross negligence; (c) any breach of any terms implied by statute and we do not in any way exclude or limit our liability further than permitted by applicable law. Nothing contained in this clause or elsewhere in these Terms of Sale limits or negatively affects your statutory rights. For information on consumer rights, you can contact a local consumer advisory service.
Canon reserves the right to modify or updates these Terms from time to time without notice. However, Canon will endeavour to communicate and highlight any major changes to the Terms via email.
Please, refer to Canon’s Consumer Privacy Policy to understand how Canon may use your personal data and how you can exercise your individual rights.
10.1. If you are a consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Subscription, and you may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
10.2. If you are a business, these Terms shall be governed by laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
